Expressbus Nürnberg - Praha

The "Expressbus" EXB is a new motorcoach service from Prague to Nürnberg in Germany. It runs without intermediate stops every 2 hours. There are 6 daily round trips in each direction with a travel time of 3 hours 50 min.

Conditions for Eurail Pass holders:

• Holders of a Eurail Pass valid in the Czech Republic AND Germany need a service supplement "Pass": 2nd class 10 euro, first class 15 euro.
• Eurail Pass holders valid ONLY in the Czech Republic OR Germany need a special ticket. Tickets and reservations available in Praha and Nürnberg.

Characteristics:

• Modern motorcoach service with 1st and 2nd class sections
• Snacks and beverages available on board, for 1st class travellers included in the fare
• 14 seats in 1st class and 58 seats in 2nd class
• Compulsory reservation for all passengers using this motorcoach service

Eurail passes are not valid on the following trains:

•  KZC Doprava
• OKD Doprava
• Posazavsky Pacifik,
• RAILTRANS
• Veolia Transport,
• VIAMONT

In general, Eurail passes are also not valid on :

• Car transporting trains
• Chartered trains (Ski, Pilgrimage, etc)
• Private steam trains
