The Pendolino is a fast train designed to travel between major cities. It operates rush-hour services and has fewer stops than the other trains.
Special Features
Pendolino trains stop at Tikkurila for customers heading to the Helsinki-Vantaa airport. At Tikkurila station there are bus and taxi services to the airport.
The maximum speed of the tilt-body Pendolino train is 220 km/h; however the speed limits on the lines have to be respected. In the timetable, the S letter refers to Pendolino trains.
Eurail Pass Holders
Seat reservation is compulsory. Eurailpass holders pay a reservation fee but no supplement.
