Eurail offers a wide range of passes, which are valid on the railways of the participating train networks.
These can be split into four main groups:
- Eurail Global Pass; valid in 21 countries
- Eurail Select Pass; valid in 3, 4 or 5 adjoining countries
- Eurail Regional Pass; valid in 2 countries (or 2 country-combinations)
- Eurail One Country Pass; valid in 1 country (or group of countries in the case of the Benelux and Scandinavia)
Eligibility to purchase Eurail Passes
Eurail Passes are available to permanent residents of any country except those of Europe, the Russian Federation, Turkey, Morocco, Algeria or Tunisia, see overview of countries whose residents are entitled to buy Eurail products.
Unlimited rail travel in 21 European countries
The Eurail Global Pass is the original, classic Eurail Pass, allowing travellers to explore as much of the continent as possible.
Unlimited rail travel in 3 to 5 European countries
The Eurail Select Pass allows customers to practically tailor make their own pass by selecting 3, 4 or 5 countries (or country combinations), provided they are connected by a participating rail or shipping route.
Unlimited rail travel in 2 countries
Eurail Regional Passes are valid for a fixed combination of 2 adjoining countries (or country combinations*).

Unlimited rail travel in 1 country
Formerly known as the Eurail National Pass, the One Country Pass offers travel on the rail system within a single country (or in some cases a country combination*).
